I enjoy communicating through the written word. I write everyday; whether it be for academic purposes or not. I find inspiration for both of these forms of writing everywhere. I would like to share my inspiration and writing with you.

Series to Come

Communication is a part of life no matter the age, culture, or species.  Everything and everyone communicates.  Communication can vary in medium, context, and listener-receiver.  Many of the best communications known to the world were based upon or around an idea or topic that the sender either knew about, wanted to know about or was passionate about.
I have found the previous idea to be true in my own communications.  Whether the communication is verbal, written, pictorial, or body it is best when I know it, want to know more about it, or am passionate about it.  I find that I enjoy the communication more under these circumstances; and so do others involved in the communication.
Therefore I would like to compile a few series’ of written communications that I felt passionately about.  These papers were ones that I felt needed to be done.  Their topics were ones of great importance to me.  I hope that they are enjoyed by others; and if not enjoyed then at least they were read, their topics were shown some sort of attention!
The first series will be on communications and will consist of several different papers that I was able to complete during my road to a Communications Degree.  The second series will be compiled papers on different aspects of human life: infants, religion, and my own road to a career.  The third series will be what I like to think as my best…it will be on the environment.
Please sit back and enjoy the three series that will appear in the next few weeks to come!

Positive Inspiration

Positive inspiration can be found in those we encounter. It can be found in their eyes, heard in their stories, and seen in their faces. Michael J. Fox is one such person that inspires countless people. The following peek into his book and life is just a fragment of inspiration that this man exudes.

At the turn from our bedroom into the hallway, there is an old full-length mirror in a wooden frame. I can't help but catch a glimpse of myself as I pass. Turning fully toward the glass, I consider what I see. This reflected version of myself, wet, shaking, rumpled, pinched and slightly stooped, would be alarming we...re it not for the self-satisfied expression pasted across my face. I would ask the obvious question, "What are you smiling about?" but I already know the answer: "It just gets better from here." - Michael J. Fox (from his book Always Looking Up)
